Me and my buddy made our way down to Bowen ranch around 10AM. The lot was nearly full. I've never seen so many vehicles there before, but then again I've only been a handful of times 3 years ago.
The hot springs and river were packed, with the total amount of visible people give or take 80. Getting a seat in any one of the hot springs was rare. I maybe got to dip in one twice before it got over crowded. The clothed people heavily outnumbered our fellow nudists (which numbered around 10 with some scattered toplessness) A couple bags of trash on the main trail. River was refreshing and cold. The integrity of the springs were intact and holding. About 6 dogs as well.
Visitors seemed to balance themselves out by replacing people leaving with newcomers. Many PCT through hikers on the beach area.
