Deputies cite off-road drivers, arrest one
Several off-road drivers were cited, and one was arrested, over the weekend for various violations in an off-road enforcement effort spearheaded by the sheriff's Needles station.
Five deputies on quad runners patrolled the area, according to a sheriff's news release. They made 15 traffic stops and issued six citations for various infractions, including not having proper off-road registration and lack of safety equipment such as helmets, officials said.
