probyn, The parking fee at the Bowen Ranch is $4.00. As mentioned, there is a free access road around Bowen Ranch, but its not makeable at all with 2 wheel drive and as Rick mentioned it's even a bit dicey with 4 wheel drive. Given all that, accessing the springs via Bowen Ranch is definitely the quickest way.
