Thanks for the information Katrina and DCR. I have felt that something differant in the water is the likely cause of these itchy spots. I'm sure many other people have been affected if they soaked for long periods. I also considered that a shower when I return home might be helpful to reduce the syptoms but you indicate that this did not help in your situation. I would find it interesting to have the water tested to see what in it might be causing this problem. How do people get water tested like that? Is it expensive? As I found yesterday reducing my time in the water helped a great deal with this problem. Just too bad time in the water has to be a consideration. This problem seems to have developed over the last few months. I hope too that this problem resolves itself before too long.
