Did a road test of sorts to assess how well a low clearance vehicle can handle the trek. My suspension on this car is just a fraction lower than that of a Porsche Boxster S and about 0.3 inches higher than the lowest sports cars on the market, with stock 17 inch low profile wide tires and a suspension offering virtually no travel.

I guess Freedom Trail may scare some folks off due to past vandalism as documented on this forum but it's a viable alternative, especially given that you own that land, at least as a taxpayer. Please keep in mind I actually have taken advanced off-road driving training back in 07 and have tackled insane grades and streams near Monterey, using a proper SUV of course, and would not attempt anything that would put my vehicle at risk, especially that one. I would peg the difficulty level for the trail at about a 3/10 in a standard sedan (with 2 sections at a 4-5/10) and a no brainer for anything over 6 inches of clearance in dry conditions. The number one rule in off-road driving, crawl vehicle over the rough parts at uber slow speeds in lowest gear, use common sense, use gravity to your advantage and don't freak if one of your wheels elevates off the ground while navigating sudden elevation changes (would recommend taking a course to learn a very cool technique in approach angles).
