Weekend visit

Spent the entire time upstream, first close to the springs, then further up. The creek water level is very low and the consistency of the water near the pools is best described as "soup", not very appealing. In the afternoon fell asleep on the beach and went into a dream state, then woke up and thought a wild animal was laying next to me so instinctively pushed it away. Then when fully awake realized it was someone's dog who decided to take a nap next to me as well. He grunted and moved back in closer to continue napping, which I didn't mind. Very well behaved.

As the weather was hot, the stream of the creek was the place to be. When you're sitting there, the fish nibble on you. I was playing around with my camera trying to capture the refreshing coolness of the water. The second video I cut short as I twisted my ankle badly after the last shot. It took 3.5 hours for me to make it back to the lot with baby steps, a lot of pain and plenty of stops.
