My family and I went for a hike into Granite Mountains today. Quite chilly on the last part of the hike, when the sun had just set. When we got in my truck, the temperature gauge in the ceiling, which measures outside temps registered 28 degrees. It got down around 15 degrees last night. When we got home from our hike today, we found water was leaking out of the wall of our home next to our garage, just below a hose bib on the wall there. You could hear the water spraying in the wall. Appears to be a small leak so it hopefully won't cause us to much trouble before I can get a plumber out to fix it. Water in a couple of bird baths out in our front yard were frozen solid, about 3 inches thick in the middle. Now all we need is some precipitation, rain or snow will do :-)
