...A COLD LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WITH UNSETTLED WEATHER THIS WEEKEND...

A STRONG LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM IS EXPECTED TO SLOWLY DEVELOP OVER
ARIZONA SATURDAY NIGHT THROUGH TUESDAY BRINGING A MAJOR CHANGE
TOWARD COLD UNSETTLED WEATHER.

AS THE COLD FRONT APPROACHES SATURDAY...GUSTY SOUTH WINDS TO 35 MPH WILL
DEVELOP ACROSS THE SOUTHWEST AND SOUTH CENTRAL DESERTS AND MOUNTAINS
BY AFTERNOON. AREAS OF BLOWING DUST CAN ALSO BE EXPECTED.

AS A MUCH COLDER AIRMASS SETTLES OVER ARIZONA LATE SATURDAY NIGHT
THROUGH TUESDAY...UNSETTLED WEATHER WILL DEVELOP WITH A THREAT FOR
SHOWERS EACH DAY. THE COLDEST AIR WILL ARRIVE SUNDAY NIGHT AND MONDAY
WITH THE POTENTIAL FOR SNOW LEVELS TO FALL TO NEAR 4000 FEET.

BECAUSE OF THE COMPLEXITY OF THIS VERY LARGE LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM...
AND ITS SLOW EVOLUTION...PRECIPITATION AMOUNTS OF RAIN AND MOUNTAIN SNOW
WILL BE DIFFICULT FORECAST. HOWEVER HIKERS...CAMPERS...AND MOTORISTS
SHOULD BE AWARE OF MAJOR CHANGE TOWARD COLD UNSETTLED WEATHER.
