The U.S. Forest Service motto "Caring for the land and serving people” defines Brad Burns. The mountains lost both a homegrown boy to protect our forest and an enthusiastic Forest Service worker when Brad C. Burns retired last Wednesday after 36-and-a-half years of working with the United States Forest Service (USFS). He has worked mostly in the San Bernardino National Forest his entire career after growing up in Lake Arrowhead.
