Re: Bowen Ranch Road Hard To Drive

Looks like that huge snowfall we had a couple of years ago, which broke lots of tree limbs down in the Deep Creek Canyon. I think the photo was taken on the same day ( the storm let up finally, a Sunday maybe? ) I was trying about three differant routes to get up to where I could park and hike to DCHS and take some photos, but because of the deep snow ( 15 inches and deeper in some places ) just past the village area, I got stuck three times and could go no further. Even if I would have made it to where I wanted to go, the hike into DCHS would have been a hard slog in and out, in that deep soft snow :-)
