Mean while here in Nevada, voters elected a Republican criminal for governor!
This guy hired a illegle immagrant to clean up his house. Not paying her social security or other taxes. Paying her the minimum wage, for ten years. All the time serving in the state legislature. Where he made a law making the hiring of illegle immagrants a felony. Is that not the definition of hypocrosy?
According to this immagrant, when he hired her he promised to help her become legal. Then when he wanted to run for congress, he fired her not helping her with her citizenship issue.
And if that isn't enough ! He accepted a cruise ship trip with his old buddy whom he helped secure millions in federal contracts. Gambling away $100,00 his buddy gave him. This would be legal if he would have applied for permmission from congress ahead of time. But he did not.
And if that is not enough ! Appearantly, in a he said she said dispute. A cocktail waitress accused him of grabing and groping her in a parking lot scuffle. After a night of drinking with his rich buddies. At the same time he was scheduled to debate his Democratic opponent. His accuser said this was all in front of security cameras. Two weeks later this film dissappears. He claims this proves he is innocent ? No , this proves he has rich friends in high places.
Once again, just like in the elections two years ago. More than 60% of voters in Las Vegas voted for Democrats, self included. Tessa Hafen and Dina Titus were duped. While the rural parts of the state went Republican.
Can you see why I am not as happy as some. Still I am glad the rest of the country had better cent$.
It is my opinion this Governor can govern from his jail cell.
I will have to soak at Deep Creek an extra long time to get over my angst.
