Well Mr Bush, did you hear that! The country is telling you there done with your lies, illegal premptive wars, chasing after oil profits in other countries resources, rampant corruption, your ease of sending folks off to die in Iraq and Afganistan for your false causes, etc, etc. Now that the Democrats have taken control of the House and the Senate, lets hope that they get going on some real changes in policy, and if they don't, the American Public needs to contact thier govenment representatives, and let them no that we didn't elect them to sit around and play thier Kazoos. And to top it off, Rummy resigns! Good riddence to that arrogant, pompous idoit. The generals had finally had enough of his bossy, misquided, and " know it all " so called " leadership. Bush in a news conference just last week said Rummy would be staying on, through his time as president. Now today, Bush says in commenting about Rummy's resignation that he was not " completely forthcoming " regarding his coments about Rummy the week before. No Mr Bush, thats called a LIE, just more of the same, par for the course from a guy for whom lies come with ease, and on a regular basis. Bush said he did not want to make this announcement so as not to affect the upcomming elections in a perceived political move. YEAH RIGHT! Like Bush, Rummy, Rumsfeld, Rice, Roe would ever think twice about using any dirty trick, or political scam in the books to alter the outcome of an election. Another thing of interest I saw in recent internet articles is that Bush has bought 95,000 acres of land down in Paraquay, and, his Daddy has also bought 100, 000+ acres in the same area. Wonder what the Bushes would be needing with almost 200,000 acres of land, way down south? Maybe so that when the investigations begin into Little Bushes multiple war crimes, torture practices, illegal detentions ( extrordinary rendition ) without representation, illegal wiretapping of American Citizens, starting illegal wars based on purposeful lies, etc,etc, he and his Daddy can have a place to hide out with thier clan. Well it shall be interesting to see what happens now with the new gains by the Democrats. Bush even today is still saying that we can't leave Iraq until we achieve " VICTORY ". Just what is Victory Mr Bush, Weapons Of Mass Destruction and Al Queda connections like you lied about before we went to war? Bush never spells out just what Victory, Stay The Course, Get The Job Done really means. But if Bush did actually declare what his real MISSION was regarding the invasions and occupations of both Afganistan, and Iraq, the answer would be messy, and rather OILY! The fact is, the Iraq and Afganistan situations are headed for meltdown. We should have never been over there in the first place. Now we are truly between a proverbial " Rock and a Hard Place ". We stay, resentment in both countries, and in the Muslim world in general will continue to build. We leave, and those that have ill intentions for the US will with no doubt be greatly emboldened, and the US, as it responsibly should, will have to begin to face the very real realities of the declining availability of hydrocarbon energy supplies. The truth is, these conflicts have readily shown the limitations of our ground forces, given the current structure and size of our military branches. We have plenty of huge projects that need getting done here in the US, without us pumping vast billions of dollars around the world to prop up and " supposedly " rebuild countries that we have invaded and destroyed thier infrastructure. The mindboggling dept of all these military campaigns by Bush and crew are putting the US on track for an economic meltdown, that is unless we just tell all our creditors, that were blowing off our massive, growing national debt! Of course Mr Bush won't be losing any sleep over this, since he and his Oily Pal Dick, will be down in Paraguay, hunting fellow politicians, and telling jokes about how well they screwed the American Public during thier time in office.
