I'm probably too late to post this, but YES! People DO go to the Springs no matter what the temp is. It's kinda like the Postman: thru rain, snow, sleet, or hail (not to mention sunshine), nothing keeps hot-springers from their appointed rounds.
Matter of fact, you missed a pretty good day on Saturday, the 15th. Many people showed up. It was cool and windy at Bowen Ranch, but down in the canyon it was very nice.
