You forgot to mention the hot air being deflated by G.W.'s republicans over the changing of the Geneva convention protocols. Enough hot air to cause several Katrinas.
G.W. continues to say his job is to protect the homeland. No, his job is to protect the constitution. If he did his job as laid out in the constitution the whole world would be better off. Instead he wants to tap everybodys telephone, I might be a terrorist. Or worse, a drug dealer that sends money to terrorist.
If we had a president that fired on all eight cylinders instead of 2 or 3 cylinders like G. W. our grand children would have more money for going to DCHS. At least Bill Clinton fired on all eight cylinders, specially when his intern was around.
Did you read about the OPEC meeting? They agreed to let the oil production quotas stay where they are.
That is ok for now, because the only place that new oil refineries are being built are in China. Despite the billions of dollars in tax breaks for the oil companies to build new oil refineries. Instead, they continue to sit on record profits and give record bonuses to CEO's.
