Anniversary pool broken ? !

I went to the springs yesterday and expected a large crowd. Because it is a 3 day weekend. I got what I expected. But I did not expect to see the wall on the Anniversary pool to be laying on it side. It is where the pipe for the shower exits and all the way to it's bottom. The breach is @ 4 foot long. So, there is no more soaking or shower. Some one had stacked sand bags into the breach but it does not hold water. Chuck a friend who is camping around Lake Arrowhead and going to the springs almost every day said this. "He was at the springs on Wednesday a group of lovers were having an orgy in that pool as he left. When he returned Thursday morning the wall was down."
As the crowds peaked there were 50 or 60 people around the springs mostly women @ 60 %. Over the course of the day, at least 100 people were there yesterday. Many people came in from the Bradford ridge trail @ 20.
At noon I took the temp of the Womb it was 100.5 degrees. It is almost 4 feet deep because of the sand from the flood.
The creek level has gone down about 1 foot since last weekend. Only true hot spring lovers make it across the @ 40 degree water. About 12 people did not make it and played in the snow near the beach there. A few times I saw them having snow ball fights ;~)
The Arizona pool is only barely over flowing from the creek. The small dam which is on the up stream side and used to hold the stream water out, is completely gone. So the creek goes into the pool now because of the breach there.
The Serenity pool was over flowing with sand so I got my shovel from it"s hiding place and got to work on it. During the day @ 6 other volunteers got most of the sand out of there , making room for the soaking crowd. Thanks every one.
