Parked at Bowens. Saw a doe and her fawn on the way down. There was 1 older couple with some dogs and a few single men when we got there. I saw 17 people all day. The only negative event was 2 couples came from LA and they were the only people I saw drinking beer that day. We had been collecting trash all through the day and as we were leaving I went up the these guys and asked them if they had any garbage bags. They did not. I told them I had an extra one and if I gave it to them would they please use it. They said they would. One the way back up the trail we found a broken Styrofoam cooler which we picked up and carried out. Just saying. I am pleased to see how little garbage there was on the ground after a weekend. Hiked out a 4pm. I had a fantastic day and look forward to going there again very very soon.
