I arrived at the Springs around 8:30 am. There were only 2 people there. Spend a quick soak and then hiked up to Willow Creek. The creek is now dry. It was still flowing about a month ago when I went by. The Springs were clean and look ready for the weekend. There were a few people coming in when I was hiking out at 2:00 pm.
Note: There was a rattlesnake on the PCT about 3/4s of a mile before Willow Creek. He was loud and moved away gracefully. No big issue. This was about 1100 am in the heat of the day so be aware that it might not be hot enough to keep them away. (Also, I did not see the Gray Fox I had seen two weeks ago by the Springs. It had jumped across the PCT close to me as I was heading back to the springs. This was about 300 years upstream and it was heading for the water. It was hot and it probably needed a drink.) Overall a very pleasant day in the area. All for now.
