Detailed driving directions/DCHS Ruined?

I visited the springs about 20 times from 1983 until about 2003, and I know exactly how to get there from memory. My girlfriend and I are planning to go there next week. A friend of mine and his girlfriend want to meet us there, but I am not sure I remember the names of the roads or other markings to tell him how to get there. Can someone spell these out, so I can pass them on to my friend? We will be heading from San Diego. I know we get off the frwy at the Main St exit and go thru Hisperia. Then I remember that after passing through town the paved road forks and we bear to the left (or we wind up going to Lake Arrowhead). After that, at some point we make a right on Kiowa (?). Then we take that either to Roundup or to Ocotillo, and if I remember, Ocotillo is less bumpy (or used to be). Then we turn right on Bowen Ranch Road. We continue on BRR a mile or two past a ranch house and sign on our left that advertizes for horseback riding and hot springs (assuming that is still there) and then, shortly after the road takes another bend left, we pull into Bowen Ranch and greet Mike or put the money in the box if he is not there. (I know, a lot of people have had problems with him but my relations with him were always just fine; also, am I correct that my car would be safer from vandalism if I paid Mike and parked at the ranch?).
If the above directions are correct, please let me know. But further details would be much appreciated, such as the name of the paved road we take to the left, at the fork, shortly after passing through town.
One final thing: When I used to go the springs 15 or more years ago, not on weekends, it was mellow and my girlfriends and I were able to get some privacy. But when I was last there, in February several years ago, a single guy deliberately got into the pool my girlfriend and I were in, so that he could oogle her breasts, even though the other tubs were empty. We couldn't get him to leave, so my gf put on her bathing suit to stop his leacherism. Another time, the previous summer, one of the females we were with felt a hand under the water touching her genitals, and it was some stranger in the tub. But those instances never occurred in my previous years at the springs. My question is, have bothersome creeps like that invaded the springs these days? And is it still possible to be in a pool that is not stuffed with other people?
