I am just putting this out there in case it helps anyone who goes on Hwy. 138.
It will be closed on 5-21 for most of the morning for a bicycle race. which goes from Wrightwood through Big Bear and then down to Palm Springs. Lance Armstrong and thousands of world famous racers will be working it. We can watch them on the TV in real time.
Then on 5-25 from 9 a.m. till 2 p.m. it will close again from the 15 freeway to Summit Valley road. It will be closed by Cal trans so they can put that black slurry coating on the surface.
So plan accordingly.
