Trip Report April 22

Made a quick trip in from the Bowen side. Arrived at 7:30 am and found that the water was as much as a foot over the serenity pool. I suggest not trying a crossing at that height since it was almost over my neck and very swift. For safety one will need to come in from the PCT approaches. The flowers are still doing well and the snow with the early morning sun made it a beautiful hike. I would suggest with the new snow and the rain expected the rest of today it may be higher tomorrow so be careful. The float has a large hole in it although the rope is still across.
