Trip Report 11-06-09

Today the weather was too perfect not to go to the springs. I parked at the lower parking lot at 11:00 AM. Crossing the creek I did not have my thermometer but I'd guess the creek temp to be in the 50's.
As I got there an old friend was there who fell in love with a guy she met at the springs @ 6 months ago so I kided her about lovebirds having the springs to themselves. She said a large group of drunk teenagers had ruined that. Her and her friend had drained the big pool because the teenagers had thrown up in it. So I thanked them for this sevice. Afterwards we went to the shade trees and talked @ things.
I have been to D.C.H.S. the last 3 Fridays and have been raking up and hauling out the trash from that burned up truck from the Freedom trail parking lot. @ 30 pounds every week. I am gonna whipe that bad Karma right out of my parking lot. It is all most all gone now :~) Also that parking lot is where I am sending this posting through a dongle on my lap top that makes my cell phone into a modem using an fm signal. Pretty CCOOOOLL EH!
As the day went on serveral others appeared at the springs and every one seemed to have a good time.Seven twenty ish young men showed up and shared their beer as the big pool got full again. As I left the springs they were doing yoga on the beach with a pretty girl who said she was a yoga instructor. How is that for an up lifting mental picture ?
Also last Friday a neighbor of mine got a ticket from Ranger Rogers for being at the springs after sunset. Cost 60$
He said they snuck up on them just after the sun set and the moon came out. He said they were rude and threatened them with more tickets if they did not leave NOW! They also gave 5 others tickets.
