Cost, range worries spur agency's plan -
Washington - Thousands of wild horses that now roam the west would be moved to preserves in the Midwest and east under a new Interior Dept. plan to protect the wild horse herds and the range-lands that support them.
Interior Secretary Ken Salazar said Wednesday the plan would not require killing any wild horses.

Can you SEE that this agency lies out of both sides of their mouth ?

Interior Dept. officials had warned in recent months that slaughtering some of the 69,000 wild horses and burros under federal control might be necessary to combat rising cost of maintaining them.

WHO is telling the truth ? Dept. officials or the boss ? Or how are they going to slaughter them with out killing them ?
This money would be better spent helping humans and letting nature take its course by leaving these animals along. They are not hurting any thing. This is what happens when they put people in an office and give them too much money they do not deserve. (Just my opinion.)
