I've spent a lot of time over the years at the Imperial Sand Dunes. The dunes get upwards of 30,000 RV and ORVs on long winter weekends. Thanksgiving is the most crowded. The biggest problem is all the trash these people leave behind. The other problem is they want to expand into other areas. We don't need more pritine dunes destroyed out there. Also, many of these ORV enthusiasts tear into the area where Five Palms Hot Springs is located and they totally trash the place. I've spent many a day cleaning up there after they've left.
