Made the drive to Bowen with my oldest daughter. We left the parking lot around 11:30. Ran into a family on the way out who had all the kids turn their back as we passed. Remembering the tales of the previous weekend I thought that was a sign of more of that. We got to the creek just as several backpackers were leaving, and the crowd remaining looked pretty low key. Quite a few men and women attired in traditional hot springs dress, more than I've seen on a weekend, but not nearly what I read about from earlier days. All in all it was a pretty good day, and a pretty good crowd.
