Thanks Wizard for your comments. I hope my daughter will continue her enthusiam for "saving the planet" as she calls it when she grows up. As you know so well with kids, you never know exactly how they'll turn out. Our job as parents is to lay down the moral fabric and provide the basic guidance of life. Then it's up to them.

Your SC posts are always informative. I continue to worry about the influence of corporate greed on the political system. Honest politicians are hard to come by anymore.

Gas down here in San Diego is around $3.18 and goin'up. We're trying to combine shopping trips more, and I'm also able to ride my bike to work. Could be worse.. gas is almost $7.00 gallon in Germany!!!
