Hello Gary :-) My Crystal Ball is telling me you might be comin thru my part of town. Could there be a meeting of the Munchkins in store :-) I have more great news about the Granite Mountians Goldfish, we stocked 7, and as I observed today, 7 are still alive! So in those rocky desert hills, where fish have not lived for maybe, 7,000,000 years, or maybe more, 7 goldfish have been residing now, for six months. Get this, when we deposited the wayward, Walmart, 10 cent, Feeder Goldfish, they were all gold in color. Now, one is black, and is fiesty and active like the others. The question is, when will they start behaving like Pirahanas, and start coming out of the water on thier new limbs! I watched them this afternoon, obviously looking for food on the surface of the pool. Lots of things fall in there, bugs, flys, catapillars, rat poo, etc, and apparently, these fishies have been making a meal of everything that falls in that dern pool! Back in the middle of winter, the pool was completely frozen over, so looks likes the cold winter water's didn't faze em a bit! So next time your driving out to Lucerne Valley, and you gaze upon those dry rocky hills, remember, there's a whole new species of Goldfish livin up in them thar hills :-)
