Real Water for Artificial Snow

With very little opposition at the hearing, the years-long annexation issue between Snow Valley Ski Resort and the Crestline-Lake Arrowhead Water Agency (CLAWA) has been unanimously approved by LAFCO commissioners.

LAFCO (Local Agency Formation Commission) is a board, which deals with annexation and sphere of influence issues throughout San Bernardino County.

With this approval, once the necessary water turnout and 2.5-mile pipeline have been laid to Snow Valley, the ski resort will be able to purchase water from CLAWA during winter months to make snow.......
