I'm planning on visiting the springs on Saturday 25mar06 (yes, I'll brave the cold), I'm planning on hiking via the Bradford Ridge trail, and I was wondering what shape the dirt section of hwy 173 was in, just in case other friends want to join me. Two years ago it was fine, but last year after all the rains, the road was pretty rutted and I was glad I was in a high clearance vehicle.
