Thanks Mojave!
It looks like Bush is pushing for Idaho Governor Dirk Kempthorne to replace Gale Norton. This does not bode well for the general environmental community. Kempthorne seriously favors the extraction industry and is very pro-development. He has pushed for a major highway to be built through some of Idaho's most pristine undeveloped lands. Overall, a very bad choice for BLM top dog.
