The Special Agent met me at my ranchhouse and took pictures of the adjacent buildings as well as a long distance shot to the Village. Motive? As I said, other property owners who filed complaints about BLM conduct were by coincidence subject to complaints filed with the County.
I suspect the Agent was disappointed at my lack of vulnerability. (I had invited the County in after the Willow Fire to assess the damage and they inspected every remaining structure.)
Also, I held a high level clearance until recently, so a background check also would have been clean.
