I think the DA had no choice but to file. However, many are saying that he should have been charged with attempted murder.
I am just glad that someone was there with a video camera or he might not have been alive today. The Sheriff's Office illegally merged with the coroner's office so now the sheriff has control over that office. After the merger, they are now denying any public access to records. In addition, they have admitted that they are so understaffed that they may have missed homocides. Dangerous place San Bernardino County.
