Hi, I'm a newcomer, and I've never been to Deep Creek. Last weekend, my friend and I had planned a hike to the springs, but we were highly discouraged from going by one of our other friends. He believed that the current conditions of the Bowen Ranch Road is too muddy due to the snow melt. And he also said that the creek will be too flooded to cross this time of year.
Has anyone been there recently? Can anyone give me an idea of what the actual road conditions are like? I was really really disappointed that we couldn't go.
