I see on the cover of the local Daily Press newspaper this morning there is a photo of a whole bunch of main power transmission lines down on Bear Valley Rd from the high winds. These were between Navajo and Kiowa, a route traveled by many DCHS visitors. My family and I went out to do some errands in Apple Valley after the high winds yesterday and found lots of roofs composed of composition roof shingles, missing large sections. Other damage also, like damaged signs, downed trees, and broken fences.
