My apologies, Wizard, for not acknowledging that the President and his cronies have the sole right to declare war.

The situation is not lost, however, as at least they deigned to involve us by presenting false data to justify an emergency and shortcut democratic control by the judicial and legislative branches. (Worst case, they could have blatently used branches of our own government to intimidate objection.)

Oops! This church was dressed down for speaking out against warfare. It would seem that they don't have a true understanding of the teachings of Christ regarding violence.

Perhaps this congregation should take a lesson and defer future personal moral choice to President Bush's Christian right.
