You may want to check with the forest service before going the I-15 to 138 highway. The last I heard the narrow road was washed out but may be Ok by now. The dirt road is only one lane wide in many places and a 1000 foot drop off on one side. Not for people who are afraid of heights.

The fence above the Bradford ridge is more than 1000 feet from the P.C.T. That was where I locked my bike and I never had any problems.
