Can someone update me on the use of Deep Creek?

I looked through some old posts but really don't have time to read back through all of them to find my answer. I'd appreciate if someone could give me a quick update:
(I haven't been up there for about 2 years!)

1) Is Deep Creek still accessible from Bowen Ranch Road parking at Bowen Ranch?
2) Are there still issues with the water causing some skin problems?

If the roads are currently closed or unpassable due to storms, when would you guess it will be open again?
