WARNING Serial killer in the Area

CAJON PASS - Search teams on Saturday found the body of a man believed to be the victim of federal fugitive John Wayne Thomson, who authorities say continued his killing spree in Southern California.

Sheriff's Sgt. Rick Ells said the body found south of Cajon Junction is very likely that of Charles Hedlund, 55, a Lucerne Valley resident and Beaumont businessman..........

The manhunt continued late Saturday for Thomson, 46. A federal warrant has been issued for his arrest.

Thomson's family and acquaintances have described him as an accomplished woodsman who can survive in the wilderness, Ells said. The FBI and U.S. marshals have been searching for Thomson for weeks.

"He is considered very dangerous," Ells said. "He could be anywhere."
