I know that good law enforcement is hard to find, especially in S.B. county. Let's pray the right person is chosen for our area, LB.
Once, when I was hiking around on the C.C.C.R. ranch, the ranch just north of the Bowen ranch. I had my binoculars, and when I climbed the tall peak between the ranches, I saw ranger Nelson drive by. This intriged me. So, I climbed down the hill some what to see what he was up to, and get a better look. I saw him spend time with Mike behind the Ranch. Then they pulled out some rifles in fancy boxes.
They spent more than 2 hours target shooting. These rifles were not the cheap kind. They were high powered assult rifles.
This experiance made me determined to buy a camera with a telescoping lense. Which I did soon there after.
After 2 hours I grew bored and hiked home while they were still shotting off. I was thinking how priceless it woud be to have a good picture of them shotting illegle assult rifles.
Also Ranger Nelson confessed to me that he worked in the Drug Enfocement Agency (D.E.A.) in cenral America before he got a job closer to his family. I wonder how many guns he sold to the commies there? He may have been blowing smoke up my butt, but he seemed proud of his past.
Looking forward to seeing your PEACE garden.
