To the one who started this thread:
As far as this forum goes, I personally find so much info here pertaining to Deep Creek and those who really do care about it that I think the threads you have read are really selective. If you read the posts here on an at least semi regular basis, you will see that many more than not are about the caring of and for Deep Creek.

As far as Mike Castro goes, I have met and spoken to him, albeit briefly, I found him to be very polite and enjoyed the talk. I also have read some posts about him - AND - I even asked questions about it as well so that I was more informed. All in all, it is up to me to find out first hand, not here say or rumors to decide for myself. I think that others out here have done the same and have thier own formed opinions as well, thats fine by me, but until I encounter any trouble with him, I have my own opinion of him and its a good one.

There are those as well who have had personal run ins with him and they can speak of the expierences here to let others know they may want to be on guard. But the way I see it- I dont bother him and I am sure he wont bother me. Been real nice so far and I dont expect anything anytime soon except more good times.
