The Department of Interior Inspector General is well aware of this and other ethical violations by highly placed personnel in the Barstow Field Office. These violations not only enriched individuals, they derailed meaningful public participation in WEMO.
I suspect WEMO and the Inspector General's report are both hot potatoes, given the apparent reluctance to share them with the public.
