I've been advised that Ed Waldheim, head of CORVA (California Off-road Vehicle Association) has already contacted BLM State Director Mike Pool, to ensure that El Mirage is adequately patrolled after the recent departure of the area ranger, and the pending departure of Chief Ranger Nelson. Meanwhile, Juniper Flats and other problem areas are seldom patrolled.
