OOOMMM,
Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it. Wise words?
First in this expiment called America, we had what was called the American revolutionary war. End result = death and distruction. Lesson learned ? yes I hope so.
Then we had what was known as the Civil war. Why was it called that, it was any thing but civil. End result = death and destuction on a massive scale. Lesson learned ? Mans inhumanity to man knows no bounds.
Then we had World war 1. End result = death and destruction. Lesson learned ? NO dammit. To be continued...
Then we had World war 2. End result = death and destuction on a massive scale. Lesson learned ? Perhaps we should ask the folks in Hiroshima or Nagasaki. Because I don't think so.
Then we had what were called police actions in Korea and Vietnam. End result = death and destuction on a massive scale. Lesson learned ? PLEASE , PLEASE , PLEASE !!!
Then we had prohabition, which evolved into the war on drugs. End result = massive death and destruction. Lesson learned ? I'll cross my fingers and hope.
It may be prudent to listen to the words of the fine folks who wrote OUR constitution: In order to form a more perfect malitia the right to KEEP and BARE arms. Wise worriors, those guys.
Property owners could start a war over government in action or miss steps. It has happened before. Let us learn from history and wise up.
PLEASE !
