Hikers into the Deep Creek area should use caution and avoid hiking during the heat of the day. Drink plenty of water before you start hiking and carry at least a gallon of water per person. Avoid the excessive consumption of alcohol as it dehydrates the body. Heat stroke and dehydration kill in the desert every year......dont become the next victim.
