Celestial wanderers gathered last saturday night to view our universal neighborhood. Telescopes were set up on the healing lot in the Village as the Friends of Juniper Flats hosted their first annual summer stargazing event. Clear dark summer skies and the electricity free environment made for perfect viewing conditions. The viewers enjoyed seeing satalites, stars, planets and even got to see a rare double star that revolves around each other. The event ended with the arrival of the closest star to earth which was brighter than all the others combined.
