A lot depends on the local jurisdiction's laws. We've fiiled nuisance/noise complaints against owners and renters. Regarding the renters with the parties and blasting stereos, we worked with the police and the landlord and got the renters evicted. Regarding the owners with the barking dog, we were also able to get the Humane Society and other authorities to remove the dog from the premises.

Southern California, especially Riverside County, continues to rapidly increase population. I wish the peaceful rural atmosphere of many places can be retained.
