I remember and agree completely with you Laughing Bear that the grazing cattle of years ago, made quite a mess down in the Deep Creek Canyon, as well as other places locally. These cattle will go where ever they want to, and the fences are in such poor shape that there really isn't any responsible barrier to thier travels. Just as the article states above, the bush administration has had no qualms adjusting scientific reports, as stated on this cattle grazing, and has done so in many other facets of public life, like in thier altering of the scientific data on global warming and its affects. Big oil, with thier choke collar on bush, will do whatever it can to squash anything that will affect thier industry, and profits. Back to the cattle, if they are introduced again into the Juniper Flats and Deep Creek areas, they will bring harm to those environments for sure! Talk about a non-indigenous species, 1000 pound behemouths running around the hills. But for the people running those cattle, not a problem, as long as they get their profits from thier animals, grazed for literally nothing on our public lands, not to mention the damage caused by thier wanderings.
