Regarding the shower pipe, the fitting that I attached to at the drain of the Anniversary pool, is attached to a pipe that was shoved into a larger broken pipe in the Aniversary pool wall. You could see that at some point in the past, someone broke off the exterior end of the drain pipe, and it appeared that a coupler could not be reattached because of the surrounding cement, so somone pushed the smaller pipe into the bigger one, this did not show signs of being glued. This is above the valve of the recent repair. Maybe people stepping on the pipe loosened the part that was not glued and it came out of the wall ? If so, someone probably could put some glue on it and push it back in, and it may hold tight. The problem is there is water constantly coming out of the drain, which has no valve on the pool side. The opening could be blocked with a sock full of sand, to facilitate this repair if indicated.
