yea....I was wondering what that babble was too. The Friends of Juniper Flats entered a specific protest about the lack of resource protection in riparian areas. BLM officials in their zeal for creating an OHV playground in the Juniper Sub Region neglected the mission of the whole study. They actualy claimed that a motorcycle only trail through the cultural area around Cottonwood Springs (J1299) would not negativly impact this sensitive area. Thier stated rationale is it will provide connectivity to USFS lands. Never mind that those USFS lands are within the Deep Creek Non Motorized Vehicle Area. I plan to be around when they explain this one to the judge.
