Definatly not true. The hot springs are on USFS land and are open to all regardless of age. The regulations enforced are no glass, no fires, no use 1 hour after sundown. Overnight camping is allowed at the private Bowen Ranch for a small fee. No water or hookups are available however so bring whatever you need. Have fun and enjoy!
