The Forest Service is releasing their new management plan that will directly affect the hotsprings and Deep Creek. There will be public meetings and comment periods on the Forest Service Management Plan. I haven't seen the new info yet, but, heard it is in my mailbox over there in Apple Valley and will be here shortly.
With regard to the Forest Service, their management area is designated as "roadless" meaning that no new roads can be created. In addition, Deep Creek has been designated as "wild and scenic" which may affect our use of the hotsprings. We shall see.
